There are two bedrooms, one of which provides access to the beautiful roof terrace. On the ground floor there is also a private closed storage room. Background information about the building:
The national monument originally concerns a jenever distillery of the company Wenneker. The building was built in 1693. The exterior facades of the original building remain. Inside, the monument was completely renovated in 1991, using the original materials such as beams and ice stones where possible. However, all floors have been replaced by concrete floors in a wooden conversion and a new foundation with concrete piles has been placed. The building is insulated and new windows are fitted with double glazing. In short: atmosphere of the past, comfort of today.
What is allowed and what is not allowed? Due to the monument status, there are some restrictions on the property. The outer facade is monumental, which means that no changes may be made to it. This means that the windows, the color of the frames, the shutters and their color may not be changed. In the past it was not possible to install double glazing in the outer facade
because of its monument status. There are now more options for this, such as installing extra insulating monumental glass. However, the energy consumption is so low that the current residents have given up on it for the time being.
In principle, everything is possible inside that is also possible with an ordinary building. Adjusting colors, adjusting walls, etc. is possible, as long as it is architecturally possible. Thanks to the monument status, it is also possible to apply for a subsidy from the government for maintenance.

In short: a unique object in a very nice location that you can move into right away!
